South Island Lake, signed oil on Board by Da'Vella Gore. Not dated but I would geuss late 80's. Typical stunning use of soft colour. The artwork is in good condition, there is a small patch at right just above the mountain range that needs some spots cleaned off. The frame is very good, there is some disclouration in the joints of the material part of the frame closest to the image.

Da'Vella Gore was born in Cromwell in 1938. Educated in Queenstown, New Zealand. Da'Vella began painting in 1968 and completed her formal Art Training in New York, USA. She has exhibited widley and has her paintings hanging in Corporate and Private collections in New Zealand and Overseas.
Da'Vella has taught painting for over 30 years and has judged many art awards. She has conducted International Art Schools and Workshops for Art Societies for many years.
She resides on her picturesque property located at Lake Hayes, Queenstown.
Da'Vella has also documented her life storey in three humerous books. Her light and funny stories of hardship, costly mistakes and persevance make entertaining reading.
Da'Vella is an Artist and Writer of note, her achievements and personallity make her a very popular motivational speaker.
